Any one care to join me?

As of now, I plan on going to Tri County next Saturday(3/12) to check out the famous Barrons for a tiara and veil. If anyone wants to join me, let me know. It will be a trek with me with the train, but I have a feeling it will be worth it.

Wish I could, but I'll bea t my stupid cousin's shower. You will love it there, they can do just about anything you want. Have fun!

guess u don't want to go. maybe you'll come down with some bug the day of the shower

where about is barrons. is there a map of the flea market. this will be my first time there

As soon as you walk in the left hand doors it is right there off to the left.

And yes, I don't want to go. It is all the way in New Hampshire, what a pain in the butt!

You need to go in the front entrance. It faces Hempstead turnpike. then go in to the right. YOu can miss it.

think they have cathedral length at Barrons???

yes they do. i ordered mine there last weekend.. 2 tiered and a cathedral. they are really nice to work with

i kinda knew what i wanted. i brought lots of pics with me too. i would suggest doing that if i were you because it gets overwhelming!

this may sound linke a dumb ? but what's the difference between a finger tip veil andone down to the elbow

i THINK fingertip is the length it would end if you arm was to your side and the veil stops at your fingertip.. .omg i am sooo guessing on this one and if i am wrong ill prob never hear the end of it!

The Elbow veil is multi-layered, and as its name suggests, is long enough to reach the elbows. Top tier - 23' and bottom tier - 27'.

The Fingertip veil is a long veil that
reaches the fingertips when the arms
are relaxed and by your side.
Top tier - 29'and bottom tier - 42'.

The Chapel length veil is a long veil.
Top tier - 29' and bottom tier - 108'.
(single tier - 108').

The Cathedral length veil is the longest veil.
Top tier - 29'and bottom tier - 126'.
(single tier - 126').

Drop: Drop is the term used to describe how the veil is attached to the headpiece. When only the center portion of the veil is attached, (leaving approximately 15 inches at each end unattached), the veil has 'Drop.' Drop creates handkerchief corners at the front sides of the veil that drape over the shoulders.

No Drop: When the entire edge of the veil is attached to the headpiece, the veil has
'No-Drop.' Veils with No Drop do not have handkerchief corners, and fall to the back of the shoulders.

Pearl Edge:The edges or hems of the veil are trimmed with pearls.

Embroidered Edge:The edges and hem of the veil are trimmed with embroidery

Rolled Edge:The edges and hem of the veil are rolled, and then stitched in place

Raw Edge:The edges and hem of the veil are left unfinished, or unhemmed.

Ribbon Edge: The edges of the veil are trimmed with ribbon.
