I am getting married in November and I kind of want to get married outside.
The catering hall said it is very possible and they have had weddings outside in November.
What are you plans for the ceremony?
Are any of the vendors giving you better deals because it's a November wedding?

hi! i'm getting married 11/11/06. my event planner/caterer said that if it's nice out we can do an outdoor ceremony & have part of the cocktail hour outside. she said we'll just wing in the day of. i like the idea of an outdoor wedding, but i'm worried about my dress getting dirty!
sadly, none of the vendors i've talked to thus far are giving us a price break b/c of november

That's how I feel you really won't know until the day of if you can get married outside.
I started looking at Photographers and they won't budge at all on the prices for November.
They actually don't budge much from their starting prices.
Where are you getting married?
We are paying for our own wedding and the prices are just so high and there is no way around them

I am getting married Nov 4, 2006. No one gave us a price break because it was november :( . The hall was the only place that the prices changed according to month of wedding. I am getting married in church, but I think it will still be nice out the first week of Nov. So go for an outdoor Ceremony!! :) HTH

I didn't even get a price break for Nov.
Villa's only give a price break for Dec,jan,feb.
How is your planning going did you book any of your vendors yet?

I got many many prices break for getting married in November, including a significant one from my hall....I am getting married in a church so it doesn't really pertain to me....I think if it's the beggining of Nov. you will be fine....

I'm getting married in November too!!!! But I'm also getting married on a Thursday, so I did get a lot of deals b/c of that.... Good Luck!!!

we are possibly having our cocktail hour outside--totally dependent on the weather....but they told us the last few years they have been outside the first weekend or 2.
