I know it sounds cheap but I have gotten so many wedding favors that I have given them to Salvation Army! I was thinking of doing a donation to Catholic Big Brother's in my finance's name since he is a big brother. Is this ok or do people resent it?

Re: Any one not doing favors?
i'm not doing favors.
as of now we will have the italian confetti, but that's about it.
i would rather up the per person cost for a better meal than shell out $$ for a trinket...

I think it is a very nice idea and you should do it! People usually don't do anything with their favors anyway and atleast it is going towards someone who is less fortunate, or supporting something you both love. I say do it, with no regrets!

Thanks for the support! Next question- does each person have to have a personalized note explaining the donation or can it be printed in the program for the wedding ceremony?
