How far away are you girls if you're OOT and how often do you get to LI? I'm so glad that the wedding isn't for another year because living here in CA and trying to plan a wedding 3,000 miles away is so difficult. I do as much as possible on here, like researching vendors and stuff so when I am home I have my choices narrowed downt to two or three. With some things I just went to one place and that was it since I was happy and I didn't have the time to 'shop around' or whatever. I am wondering if anyone else is in the same boat as I am. Thanks!!

I'm living on LI now but I'm hoping to move to Florida sometime soon.. depending on when FH gets a job there. I'm trying to get everything done before I move.

I've been planning from San Diego, but luckily I'll be moving to Manhattan June 2nd, so it should make things easier!

Re: any OOT brides?
We're hopefully moving back by the end of the year. That will make things SO much easier. For most of the vendors, I don't want to wait that long to book since that'll only bring me to about 6 months ahead of time and thats cutting it too close. Most of the major things will be done by next weekend though, so it shouldn't be that bad!
