I got tons of info on it and I booked my hm already. I was just curious who else was going bc it seems everyone is either going to Aruba, a cruise or Hawaii.

What kind of clothing would you pack for day and also night. Also how hot is it during the day?

We haven't booked the HM yet and was thinking of going to the South Pacific. Could you tell me:

1. which islands you are going to
2. how long are you going for
3. did you use a particular travel agent
4. were you a budget traveler or luxury all the way
5. how much you spent on hotels/flights

any anything else you thought was important to know or consider. Thanks.

We went in November and it was VERY hot during the day. Tahiti is very casual. We packed way to much stuff. Bathing suit and a sarong during the day and you could get away with shorts at night if you wanted. Bring a beach hat for during the day.
but I wouldn't bring too many formal clothes.

We are going to Moorea and Bora Bora. We are staying on each island for 5 nights. We are staying at 5 star resorts at the Pearl Resorts. In Moorea we aer staying in a Beach Bungalow and in Bora Bora an Overwater Bungalow.

Our air was about 3k for the both of us. Which included air from NY to CA, CA to Tahiti and all interisland airfare.

I used Claire atLiberty Travel on 41st and Madison. If you want her info. she was great. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

we're going to tahiti but we haven't booked yet. we've received a lot of good reviews about the travel agents here - so we're probably using them
