Any other corset-back ladies planning on going braless?
My dress is in, I tried it on Wednesday, and I've decided that a bra is unnecessary fabric. The corset is tight enough that I'm not worried about anything going anywhere...
Any past brides do this? How'd it work out?

I'm also not wearing a bra with my dress, instead I'm having cups sewn. I love not having to deal with searching and finding a bra! Something less on my to do list.

I'm actually not doing cups either - I'm large up there, so I'm afraid its going to make me look bigger! eek!
My prom dress was corset also, and I didn't wear a bra...I hoping this works out just as well!

My gown was so tight I went braless, and I NEVER go braless, as I'm a 38DD.. And it wasn't a corset back. I bought an expensive merry widow before the dress arrived but the dress wouldn't zip with it underneath. Besides, it held me up better than most of my bras. We didn't even bother sewing in cups, it was unnecessary.
The good part is that I was much cooler than I would have been otherwise, I looked great, and my husband got a kick out of knowing that I was going 'half commando.'

I agree my dress is a corset and wearing a bra with it is not only unnecessary but it didn't look right. I'm a 36DD and with it all laced up tight theres no way anything is going anywhere lol. So do what is most comfortable and looks best with your dress.

YES!!! I was reluctant to post - I wanted to make sure it was 100% correct first, and IT IS! its perfect!
The sleeves need to be taken in (too big, even for MY arms!!!) and it needs a slight hem, but THAT'S IT! The dress is perfect.

My boobs are just SO big that there's no way I can go braless.
Unfortunately, I have had this problem with these GIGANTIC boobs my entire life.
It's never going away

I think I'm gonna have cups sown in. But then again....who knows how I'll feel when I finally try on my gown? Also...I dunno if I feel comfortable flapping in the breeze when people are helping dress me...

My dress is a corset too. I've considered going braless, but from all the years of losing/gaining weight I sag and do want to look droopy!

My dress has a corset back and I've considered not wearing a bra. I tried the sample on bra-less and the I was sooo tied in that nothing moved. I think I will see what happens when my dress comes in

awwwwww you're so cute - I doubt that'll be an issue!!!
I had a reduction when I was 20, so my girls are in a happy place. I always say I was given back 20 yrs of gravity!

Me too. It stinks!!! That's the only disadvantage to losing weight- the girls just aren't the same!

I don't think I'm going to wear one...the girls are small enough to be contained in the dress. I won't know for sure until it comes in and I can try it on.

Me three--I lost over 100 pounds five years ago, and they're just not the same. Although they're not that bad, considering what they might look like. My husband loves 'em!
Anyway, I was fine going braless on my wedding day, and I think it's the first time I've done that, other than bathing suits, since I was about fourteen, and even then it wasn't a good idea, but I was stupid and fourteen. I got dressed with my sister. There aren't any pictures of me getting into my dress, but then it's not like I wanted pictures of me in control-top pantyhose anyway.

I am large up there and my seamstress said that i would be fine without a bra and without cups. I am a little hesitant, but she said she would pull it tight enough so it would be fine- I am not wearing a corset back though!
