I had my wedding at Crest Hollow 4 months ago..They did an outstanding job. They are very organized! We had the plaza room..with the cocktail hour in the downstairs room. Everyone raved about the food..and the service was terrific. The room looked lovely. They treat the bridal party fabulously. They were the best vendor we chose!

We went to Huntington Hilton afterwards. They had a sports bar inside the hotel. The guests loved going there after the wedding.
(I think they were renovating it, dont know if they started it yet.)

Used Dynasty Limo. I recommend them. They were the house limo for Crest Hollow..and I had no complaints!

DJ was Variety DJ. Overall they were ok..but I wish I had spent more time detailing the play list. (remember to tell the DJ how you want to give away the table flowers) Dont assume they know!

Photographer was Frederick Studios.

The dress was from Commack Wedding Center: Will NEVER recommend this vendor. Enough said!

Got my favors at Mikasa outlet. Votive candle holders..they came in a square box. I wrapped them in tulle and tied it with a ribbon..They went over nicely.

P.S. if your getting a unity candle..or satin gift bag, best to put it on your bridal registry. Otherwise, you can buy a plain candle at craft shop for like 7.00. That's what I did.

So glad it all went well, Debby. We are having our reception there this July (Emerald Room). I will report back to everyone after the wedding. We are using: Florist - Florissima Band - Arcadia (LI Paramount) Limo - Ultimate Class Photo/Video - Cassarino So far, so good with everyone. They are all house vendors. You don't gain much by using house vendors with the CHCC, but if the vendors fail, it does reflect badly on the Crest Hollow. We happened to like these vendors. I did have a little trouble getting in touch with my photographer at first (we wanted to meet her (Jodi) to make sure we liked her). We do! I stopped in one day and George was there (one of the owners). He gave me her home phone number, so it all worked out OK.

Hey Debbie, I'm having my wedding at Crest Hollow in August. I have heard that it is customary to tip the banquet manager 15-20%, for me this would come out to over $2,000. Any suggestions?

Hi All! Im getting married at the Crest Hollow on July 3, 2001!!!! I`m not from the area and am having a hard time finding a good DJ and florist.... Any suggestions would be helpful!!! Thanks. Also, anyone else dealing with Mitchell at the CHCC?

I went to most of the recommended florists and found the most reasonable and reputable is Florissima. I booked them. Hopefully all will go well. Jeff from the CHCC recommeded them highly and a cousin of mine loves their work.

Debby, It's really reassuring to hear from someone who's already been through it that Crest Hollow does a good job. We'll be having our reception in the Plaza Room too and are keeping our fingers crossed for the Emerald Room for cocktails. Were you happy with the quality/quantity of the food?
