Well ladies...it has started!!! Football Widows...I feel your pain... FH was downstairs in his Man Cave all day yesterday...while I was upstairs all day!!!!
Actually sometimes it not that bad having an entire day to myself...But let's give a shout out to all the Football Widows out there!!!!

haha! I hate football, but actually enjoyed sitting on the couch watching with DH..i think i asked really stupid questions b/c he was like laughing at me a little - haha
i say try to join him in his cave next sunday!!

I usually watch teh 'good games' with him.. I actually like to do it. I've learned ALOT!!! I even surprise him when I mention players by name!!!

I'm a football widow.
I HATE foot ball. FH says I'm just un-American for not liking it. I was forced to watch it yesterday because all of his family came over so I couldn't just disappear like I normally would've liked to.
Don't get me wrong I try to get into it but I just don't like it...so that's his thing.

i always feel like the odd one out during football season--cause i think my DH is more of a football widow than I am! we both LOVE watching football on sundays---i feel like sundays in the fall & early winter are reserved for pig skins....beer...and wings.

I miss spending the whole weekend with FH. But he loves football and it's only a few hours. At least I had time to take a nap!
We still managed to go out to breakfast and go to the mall for a little while.
Then we watched the VMAs together until I fell asleep.

I actually enjoy watching too. We're Giants fanatics (well, DH a tad more than me, lol) but I really look forward to Sundays in the fall, just hanging out on the couch and eating 'game snacks' together!!

We were at a FSIL's wedding yesterday so FH missed the game but I'm sure that as of next weekend I will be tortured by football on the weekends!

ahhhh....my FH is in 2!!!
he was bummed b/c he was going to miss some of it during our honeymoon (oh geesh, i'm sorry dear...lol), but then was so happy once he found out that the cruise has internet so he can check his scores...lucky me!!! Should be a fun honeymoon..lol

DH LOVES football! His whole Sunday is dedicated to football. Yesterday while he watched all day, I actually didn't mind too much because I got a lot of stuff done. But it can be annoying at times!

Well, Linda, for once something we DON'T have in common DH isn't a huge sports buff really, but he will go to a Superbowl party just to hang out. However, hunting season is coming and that is when I will become a widow

i dont really feel a difference but thats bc DH is also a baseball fanatic and always watches baseball and we all know theres more baseball games than football games. He does baseball fantasy leagues, and plays softball. He also watches football and does football fantasy. So i dont know, cant say i see a difference but only bc its been like this since april when baseball started lol.

hah i know what you mean...but I happen to be a big Giants fan so I love it too....
Try watching it with him...its fun once you get to watch a few...plus you are taking an interest in something he likes
