Re: Any other Maid-of-Honor poems?
Here are three that I actually got from this board... sorry I forgot the people who posted them first.
I had a strong feeling The day that we first met, That you’d be a friend I would never forget. From 7th grade until now, A million memories we’ve made. We’ve cheered, we’ve laughed and even cried, And not a moment I would trade. I'll always fondly remember The special times we’ve shared. You’ve always been the truest of friends And always shown you care. And now at this most special time As my marriage and new life begin, I couldn’t ask for a better Maid of Honor Than you, my dear best friend! Will You Be My Maid of Honor?
You've shared with me the special times, our friendship grows each day, We've shared our secrets and our dreams, and laughed along the way. And now at this most special time as my wedding day nears, I would like to have you by my side to calm some jitters and the fears. When I am walking down the aisle a very happy bride, It would mean so very much to me to have you by my side. As my Matron of Honor you should know you’ll have a special part. As Matron of Honor you must know Your place inside my heart!
When I walk down the aisle On the day I say, ' I do' I'll put my flowers in your hands, And I'll be proud to stand next to you. You'll be the one who is by my side On this very special day. You'll hold my strength in your heart Because you stand for me in so many ways. You have walked with me many times before, And I am blessed to have you here now. I treasure the honor of having you by my side On the day that I say my vows. Maid of Honor is not only a symbol But a statement of loyalty and trust. It gives new meaning to the bond And the devotion we have between us.

Re: Any other Maid-of-Honor poems?
I put this little poem on the inside flap of my MOH's card.
Gracious and lovely, she steps to the fore, Assisting the bride on her way; The Maid of Honor is all that and more; Thank you for helping us with our day!
This poem on put on the inside of her card. I actually got this poem from jenny2penny.
To My Maid of Honor… As Maidof Honor you must know Your place inside my heart, Since on the day that I will wed, You'll play a special part. When I am walking down the aisle A very happy bride, It means so very much to me To have you by my side. And, if upon my wedding day Tears in your eyes I see, It shows how much you mean to me So do not think that things will change Because I'll be a wife. You'll always hold a special place Of honor in my life.
You are my sister, And, it's time for me to say You mean so much to me. I'll treasure all the memories Of growing up with you, For sisters form a lasting bond That's tested, tried and true. And, now that I'm about to wed, Become a fine man's wife, Dear Sister you will always be Important in my life. I love you.

Re: Any other Maid-of-Honor poems?
I put this one in my BMs cards on the inner flap.
Your thoughtfulness and loveliness Will make our special 'Day' come true; We will always be so grateful For a Bridesmaid dear as you!
I put this one on the inside (also got this one from jenny2penny).
There are special women in my life, Those who should be near me as I become Michael's wife. A bride must have her bridesmaids, a groom must have his men, To stand up and support them, to help them and attend. On September 18, 2004 I will be Michael's bride, yet that day could not be complete, With out you by my side. Thank you for doing me the honor and standing by me as I say “I DO!” For I treasure our friendship, in every single way.

Re: Any other Maid-of-Honor poems?
I used this one for my FSIL:
You welcomed me with open arms, When I was strange and new. You treat me as a sister would, and now it's coming true! Here we are some time away, from December 31st 2005, our wedding day! I've picked the colors and started all our plans, My maid of honor's been chosen, as well as his Best Man. But still, there are those Special Ones Who have been there all the way. The bridesmaids and the ushers, who are in our hearts to stay! So just to make it official, I ask you in this way to be at my side as my bridesmaid and share our Special Day?

Here are some more:
The day, the dress The bride, the groom The joy, the tears Will all come so soon Professing true love To my husband to be With family and friends All watching me I hope the sun will Be shining down Keep your fingers crossed That I’ll fit in my gown But there’s one more thing That needs to be And that’s to have you Standing with me ******** You have helped me through some trying times, Spared some change when I did not have a dime, Held my hair back at night and swore you would never tell my mom, We have fought over boys (only God knows why), We have laughed together and we have even cried. So, please if you’ll do just one more little task, I promise that this is all I will ever ask: Will you wear a dress of ______, while I will wear my dress of white - - Say you will be my bridesmaid on my special wedding night? ****** -for a flower girl- When I was just a little girl, About the size of you, I dreamed one day I'd fall in love And then get married, too. So now that I am all grown up, About to be a bride, I want you for my flower girl To be right by my side. For it is common knowledge that A wedding's not complete, Without a pretty flower girl Like you, who's dear and sweet. ***** I'll always remember the times we've shared. You've laughed with me, you've cried with me, and always shown you care. So at this very special time, the day I am a bride, I want you to be a bridesmaid who stands by my side. ******
When I am walking down the aisle A very happy bride, Please know it means so much to me To have you by my side. Do not think that things will change Because I'll be a wife. You'll always hold a special place Of honor in my life.
