Sans Souci - 11/3/01

I am getting married there in less than two months. We are using Code Bleu - band and their house florist. I am having a fall theme wedding, with little pumpkins on the table, etc., so the feel of Sans Souci was perfect. Good luck!

ME TOO!! 5/11/02

I'm having my reception there next May on a Saturday afternoon. We are using the house florist for the flowers at the place and the table centerpieces because it is included in the price, but for bouquets and bouts, we are using a local florist. As for the band, we have booked the Times Square Orchestra (www.timessquaremusic.com) They have played there before and we are excited to have an 8-piece band in our price range. For photography, we are going with Glenmar Studios in Roslyn. Good Luck. fm221, report back and keep us posted as your day draws near......

Any other Sans Souci Brides?

Oh yeah, forgot to add. My uncle was married there in 1994. I know it was a while ago, but the place was great and the food was excellent, which was one of the reasons we went to look into it and ultimately book it. We are having about 100-115 guests, so we liked the fact it was small and only hosted one event at a time.

I'm having my reception there October 12, 2002! I'm pretty sure we're using the house florist for centerpieces. We are opting for a DJ instead of a band, but haven't booked one as of yet. Good Luck and keep us posted!

For Siran

Well, the Sans Souci has a web site that may help you to get to know a little about the place and the menu: www.sanssoucicaterers.com It is an old histoirc house that functions only for catering purposes now (it used to be open as a restaurant years ago). It only has one room and caters to one function at a time. It can hold up to 175, but from seeing it, I'd say that would be maxing it (it's on the smaller side). There are some pictures on the website, as well as a sample menu. Since we are getting married in May, we are having an outdoor cocktail hour. As for pictures, the grounds are pretty and the water/beach area is right across the street. We hope to be able to take some pictures there. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get and what's included (anywhere from $85-$90 for a Saturday wedding). I am not sure if it's less for other days. I would definietly check it out. You don't get the full beauty of it all until you see it. Email me if you have more specific questions.
