Just booked the Snapper Inn yesterday for our June 5, 2010 wedding and are super excited!!
We are a bit worried over the fact that we heard there could be 'cocktail hour crashers' from the restaurant... did you hear the same thing and/or was this addressed?
TIA!!

Re: any other Snapper Inn Brides out there?
I am a June 26, 2010 Snapper Inn bride =) Yes, I am worried about that as well, but I think if you are firm with Lori and tell her you do not want it then it will be prevented. I am going to make sure it is clear, lol. I may sound rude but it's my wedding, I'm not paying for these other people to 'crash'

Amen!!
I really really like Lori! She has been super responsive and so sweet!! Are you going with the wedding menu? If so, did you meet with the florist/bakery yet? TIA!

Re: any other Snapper Inn Brides out there?
I am using the wedding menu with a few changes of my own to make it 'our menu'. I have NOT met with the bakery or florist yet. Have you? Where are you having your ceremony? I still can't decide if I want to do it there or at the Church. THe problem is, my Church is in Westhampton Beach, and all of our guests are staying by the Snapper Inn. I'd hate to have them drive East to go back West? Or am I being silly?

Nice! We have yet to go over the wedding menu in full but hope to do it soon!!
Haven't met with the baker or the florist. Hopefully will meet with them in December when FH is back from Buenos Aires. We are having our ceremony at a church in Hewlett (45 min west of Oakdale). No worries, you aren't being silly. I am having my guests stay in Rockville Centre (only about 5 min closer to the Snapper Inn) because the wedding is in the morning and the hotel is near the train station for the OOT guests to go into the city. We are also arranging buses for those who don't have transportation.
