Any other teachers enjoying their last day?

I'm pretty sure there are other teachers on here... everyone ready for tomorrow? I'm such a nerd - I already set up my classroom and I'm actually excited. I'm not one of those people who complain when going back - I even worked summer school this year. Good luck tomorrow!

I have a couple more days...we dont start until tuesday and kids dont come until thursday! BEst of luck to you guys!

Yeah I worked summer school also, I could have waited until Monday to go back. Today Steve and I are going to the beach to relax, we are going with a few co-workers.

where do you teach that you start tomorrow my mom doesnt start in til the 4th

Its been a little stressful for me... I have a leave replacement position starting in October, so i still have some time before I have to go back. I wish I had a full year anything, but it was really tough this year finding something for reading... but I can't complain because at least I have something...even if it isn't a full year.

I teach in the city - Astoria. We have two days of professional development and then the kids come back Tuesday.

No, the kids go back the day after labor day. teachers have boring conferences before labor day. all day you're like, didn't you just tell us the same thing last year?

I'm a teacher in training. I start my student teaching on Tuesday and I went to the school today to help my cooperating teacher set up her classroom.

This whole week i've been setting up my classroom. I'm not going in tomorrow or Friday and we have a meeting on tuesday and the kids come in on Wednesday! I do not like September!! I hope i don't have any cryers!!!!!!!!!!

i wish i was going back to school this week i wasn't able to find anything yet. i really didnt look that hard either but state is taking forever with my certification too. if anyone hears of a job opening let me know

i wish my freakin cooperating teacher would call or email me back!!!! i've left messages and e-mailed up the wazoo!

im going to superintendents day next tuesday though, so hopefully he'll be there and we can actually talk. I dont want to just go in, ya know? That feels weird.

Keep checking on OLAS.....it is great and you dont need to keep filling out online applications..it saves everything for you! Good luck...I am kind of in the same boat as you...I have a leave in October but I need full year because of benefits!!! Ugh...
