I am such a tomboy...I spend most of my life in jeans and sneakers. I read all these posts about getting dresses for the RD and shower, and think that I would like to be girly again. I have avoided shopping for a few years because I was not happy with my weight. Now that I am losing it, I would like to start shoping for 'girly' clothes again. Can anyone recommend a place where I could buy nice feminine clothes without spending a fortune, until I lose the rest of the weight?

hmmmmm target has very cute clothes, old navy, filenes basement, century 21, H&M, gap has some great deals

not IN suffolk - but a few minutes outside of it - there's one on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa!
OMG - you are beautiful - I looked at the pic in your album - overweight ...NO way - to try styles you are not sure about - target can be good sometime - inexpensive too - check out marshalls & TJ Max but be prepared to look around.

There's also one in Lake Grove and another one in Patchogue.

You are too sweet. It's hard for me to find girly clothes that I am comfortable in. It's been awile since I was thin, and I can never seem to find clothes that look nice and fit...I get so frustrated sometimes I cry in the dressing room.
