I LOOOVED them. but I haven't been able to finish one since Merrick. I was so pissed off that they ruined Louis. Anyone else love these books? It's been so long since I've read them; I used to read them over and over.

I understand that they are not like Interview or Lestat but these more recent books (Pandora,Armand,Vittorio, B&G) all deal with the vampire community as a whole and focus on character development. I find that to be a more personal read. I was also an art major in college and all of these books deal with great masters on a certain level. Vittorio spoke constantly os Fra Angelica and Marius in Blood and Gold had an obsession with Botticelli.

Pandora, Armand and Vittorio are OLD already! hehe...
The series has progressed a LOT.
Vittorio was really a cool read, even though it wasn't part of the chronicles it still tied in, like pandora. It's been a long time since I've read those two.
Do you feel that since Merrick, you have to have read the Lives of the Mayfair Witches? I kind of want to read them when I get a chance.

No interest in Mayfair clan at all. They are involved greatly in the Blood Canticle, which I am reading now. The series as a whole has now developed into a franchise and is really not that great.
