we're having our reception at the watermill as well. I believe the room is the astor room (not the room downstairs).

Re: Any other Watermill brides??
I think the normal minimum is 175-200 but because we are getting married on Mother's day they dropped it to 150. We really want to try to keep it at 150. The list so easily keeps getting bigger.

Re: Any other Watermill brides??
We fell in love with the Watermill as soon as we walked in. It was the 1st place we looked at and everything we went to see afterwards was just 'not the Watermill!' We are in the Astor as well!
What do you think of Samantha???

Re: Any other Watermill brides??
I think they tell you whatever they want about minimum's. I have to guarantee 160 in November. They also told us that we could have the Vanderbilt for the same price, but we'd have to guarantee 200. I am sure it also depends on the month. We wanted October, but it was a $25 per head difference for a saturday night, which is what we wanted...so Hello November, we love you!

Re: Any other Watermill brides??
LOL...I understand...we picked March mainly because its still considered Winter and we would have a better chance of getting the hall we wanted at a price we could afford...I'm happy with our room...we hav ethe entire upstairs so its seperate, and I just love it there...so excited....now lets hope we can save enough money to really afford it
