I booked them for the ceremony and reception and just wondering if anyone has any feedback about TP.

Re: Any past and present Timber Point CC Brides?
Getting married 2 weeks from today! I can let you know more then!
FBIL was married ther in '98. Everyone (I'm told - wasn't with FH then) had a great time.
My experience with them so far has been good. I have no complaints. But nothing spectacular to say either. They've done everything I've expected so far...

I see you are using Jennifer from Fairytale Makeovers. Is she doing both hair & make-up? Is she coming to your home? Would you email me her prices?
Where are you taking your pics? We are going to take our pics at the Bayard Cutting Arbortuim (sp??) right next door.
I see your wedding is a Friday, me too.
Is Imagine Studios one of there house vendors? I can't remember.
I can't wait to hear all about your day.

Re: Any past and present Timber Point CC Brides?
Hi Tara, Yup, Jennifer is doing my hair and makeup. I'll FM you the prices she gave me. I don't know if they hold for 2004, but they shouldn't be much more expensive.
We are taking pics at the Arboretum too, but before that we will stop along Ocean Pkwy or at Robert Moses to take pics at the beach.
Imagine is not a house photographer but I think Lia is just a wonderful artist and I fell in love with her work, so we booked her right away.
Who are you working with at TPCC?

It's never the same! When we first went, we worked with Michael (Lessing). But when we went for taste testing, we worked with Ben. I've dealt with him until recently, when now they have me dealing with Lenore. It's okay though, I'm not concerned about it really.

I think Lenore is who replaced Laura. I like Michael and Ben, I comfortable with them. I guess I'll meet Lenore once the date gets closer.

Stavia... I see that you are using TP house florist, M & F....how are they? I haven't spoken with them yet.
How was the pricing for the rooms at the Marriott? I'm thinking of using the new Hilton that's going up on Vets Hwy. I haven't inquired yet.
I look forward to all the feedback on Timber Point....my wedding is a month after their renovations on a Saturday afternoon....I feel like I'm the only one doing a day wedding! ~Shana

Re: Any past and present Timber Point CC Brides?
I am using my own candle centerpieces, I just wasn't thrilled with any of the include ones, & really preferred to do something myself. I am very happy with M&F $ for all my bridal party flowers & all I really wanted was roses so florist was a pretty easy thing for me to do. They will also be decorating the stairs for me & some standing pieces for the ceremony(I am using credit that I got for not getting centerpieces towards that).
Marriott has been wonderful(I am having an after party there as well as a brunch & most likely my RD). Our room rate is $109 a night & they have no problem giving out baskets & they even have a nice letter that they do for your guests themselves.

Re: Any past and present Timber Point CC Brides?
My best friend just got married there July 12th. Everything was very nice. Food was good, service was very good. She also used the house florist...here's a pic of some of us 'Maids'. The Boo-k's were very nice, centerpieces were simple, 6 roses in a glass bowl with some greenery.
