Any past/future brides with a x-mas theme? Need CP ideas

I'm getting married Dec. 8, 2007 and I love the whole christmas idea. The RH decorates very elegant and nice for christmas and I figured all the boats outside will have x-mas lights up for pictures as well. For a favor I'm giving out personalized glass christmas balls with our names and the date. I also would like to get a horse and carriage rather then a limo. I found very unique winter invites too. I had a few other cute ideas as well. I'm going to go with red and gold as my colors and white wherever it's needed. I'm a little stumped on centerpieces though. Any future/past brides have any ideas?? I was thinking possibly to get a tall vase, fill it w/ pine cones and water, add some of those white decorative tree branches around and then in the middle 3 red and 3 white poinsettas and then on the white branches hang tiny gold x-mas balls with fish wire. Does that seem odd? lol
