Hi, I'm a PJCC bride, but we have not decided on the music yet. It's still over a year away. What type of music is good for a cocktail hour???

I went to a wedding that music by Harry Connick Jr, Frank Sinatra, and other 'swingy' type music that was nice. It may be a little much for dining, but was perfect for the cocktail. Most DJs try not to play too many slow songs during the reception, they want to keep lots of people on the dance floor, so this would also be a good time to play some that may be left out.

Any PJCC brides? please read.

We're getting married at PJCC on 6/24 (3 weeks to go - AHHHH!!!) We haven't picked specific music for the cocktail hour. We're sort of leaving it in the hands of our DJ (Get in Tune). Maybe this is not a great idea, but I just feel overwhelmed with so much stuff to do right now that I can't even think about picking any more music!!!!
