I personally haven't tried gowns on yet, but I'm not confident that that silhouette is going to work for me. I don't think it's the plus size situation per se that'll be a problem, I think it's going to depend on your proportions... whether you have a defined waist, how large your hips and butt are in relation to the rest of you, that kind of thing... but def try some on and see how it goes! Worst is you won't like it and you move on to the next thing, but I would look for that cut exclusively cause you might drive yourself crazy. Good luck.

I am a plus size girl in a mermaid.. dress is a demetrious....
Re: any plus size girls wearing mermaid or trumpet style gown?
I would not say I am plus size, but I am certainly bigger than alot of the ladies on here...I am what I call 'hippy', and do not have a very defined waist line. I was very suprised that I ended up picking a mermaid/trumpet style gown.
My advice is just to try it on, because you never know what will look flattering on you.
