im a queens girl at heart even though im in long island now. born and raised in glendale and middle village. i also live in whitestone for a few years when i moved out on my own. i miss it there is no place in the world like queens.

I am a transplanted Whitestonian. I have been here for almost 9 years. But I'm moving to Putnam County soon (I hope!)

I will miss Queens a lot.

i was born and raise din woodside moved to bayside in 199 with my mom and now that i am married we rent from my dh grandma in the Jackson heights area

I love Queens. It has it's rough spots but I love the borough...

I love walking around in the spring and summer on austin st.

I dont live in queens but i was born in queens I lived there when i was 1-2 years old i lived in flushing and new hyde park.

DH's two brothers are always putting down Queens, yet they were raised and they both work in queens....go figure!!! They both live in commack. I don't knock their neighborhoods so sometimes it bugs me when they make their 'queens jokes'...

this one time we were at a bbq at a friend's house in smithtown (this is a friend that DH and his brothers grew up with) so as usual they start knocking queens so I said 'ummm weren't you both born in brooklyn but raised in queens, and ummm don't you both still have jobs in queens as well'....they quickly stopped the queens jokes after that...

I will be a Queens girl next summer! my FH lives in Bayside. I love that I can walk to the bagel store or to the drug store. I'm from jersey and EVERYWHERE you go you need a car.. I love city living!
