Hi, there. I'm getting married at the larkfield manor, and they recently changed management. i was concerned with a few things i saw today (i haven't been there for about 5 months), and was wondering if anyone had a wedding there recently and could let me know how it went. the old manager was so nice and seemed very on top of things, and i'm just hoping things won't change under new management. just wondering. thanks.

After hearing Frank was gone I immediately made an appointment to go there. I had a list of questions FOUR pages long and Lisa answered every single one of them for me. She made FH and I feel at ease with the change of BMs.
Rest assured, everything will be fine!!

I'm currently looking into having my wedding there as well. I'm a little nervous since they said they will be making some changes which should all be positive (new paint, carpet etc.) I just want to see the finished product before I commit which should be done next month.
Has anyone else heard similar?
I'm looking forward to any and all feedback as to how your weddings go! Good Luck with the rest of your planning

The didn't have a 'management change', just the BM left. The owner is still the same, and the operating manager is the same, the staff, and chefs are also the same. The only real difference is that Frank is gone, and although that freaked me out at first now I don't see it as a big deal at all.
I'm happy with all of the changes going on. I think it will make our weddings better!
I'll be a guest at a wedding on 7/3 at the Larkfield, so I'll let you know how it goes from the guests prospective.

Actually, there are new owners. They took over about 3 weeks ago. The new owners are two brothers. They do seem to be on top of things, though. They are working on the landscaping and lisa told me they are putting in new carpets on June 20th (don't know what color, but I doubt they will be light, sorry ). My fiance's co-worker had a party there this Saturday for his child, and he said (along with other people who attended) that everything was perfect! The food was delicious and there was always someone around to help with anything needed. Everyone agreed that it was a terrific place. I feel much better and confident now .

Also, I was told that there were not new owners, just that Frank left....
