Any recm'd about how to....

tone up my upper arms? I hate sleeveless things b/c I'm not comfy w/my arms...and, most wedding dresses are sleeveless, and I didn't like the ones that have sleeves, I didn't like. TIA

Believe it or not, arms are the easiest and fastest part of your body to tone...buy some 3lb or 5lb weights and do 3 sets of 12 reps of arm curls and other arm excercises...you should see results in 2 weeks!

Try these sites:

Arm Excercises 1

Arm Excercises 2

And more...

do you belong to a gym? It might be worth getting a training session or two and get them to help you target that area.

Make sure to work out each muscle group on the arm because they all work together and if one is toned and not the other, it won't look right. So don't forget to do the Biceps, triceps, and shoulders. Arms are definitely the easiest to tone up. Go to Borders and leaf through fitness magazines - shape, self, fitness and/or books to get some ideas of what to do and then you can do them at home with free weights.

push ups and curls-- among other exercises at the gym..

Also on the cardio machines-- use the ones with the moving arm handles-- I have seen a difference since I have switched to those-- but I have also been working out a lot.

I am a big fan of pilates. Get a video do it at home. It stretches and tones your muscles for a lean look.

Okay, I don't have a clue how to attach directly to a website but if you type in bodyforlife.com, they give demonstrations on all these different type of excercises and they're grouped by muscle. I'm telling you, I am a flabster and these excercises really tone!

if you dont want to spend money on a trainer, buy a set of 5lb or 8lb dumbbells and do arm exercises at home. i would do arm exercises at least twice a week, and break it down into: triceps and shoulders one day and biceps and back the other day.
I would also suggest doing at least 3 different exercises for each muscle group, and to do 3 sets of at least 15 reps.
