any recommendation on a dj or band?

i know i posted this b4 but i wanted to know are alot of you guys going with a dj or band? What is the going rate? Any good recommendations for either a band or dj thats in nassau or suffolk but not too far in suffolk?

We are going with a DJ.. bands get really expensive. We are using FM entertianment. We are paying about 1100 for a DJ and MC plus extra lighting. They have really good reviews on here and we got a really good vibe from them

yeah i just looked at their review- yeah bands are really expensive!!! I'm going to look into FM- i was just on their website. Their package seems to be really great. Thanks for the info

We are having a DJ...I was never too big on the band thing.

i'm a dj girl all the way.....i love the way the music sounds...the variety they can play....you can add live percussionists

i dont take anything away from bands...just was never a fan of the breaks...i feel they are limited....but to each their own

We used the band Timepiece which is part of Franklyn Wayne Music. They have 5 different bands you can see and they are always doing showcases.

I agree, a dj can play any song you want and you know its going to sound the way you always loved it. A band can be amazing, but I just like all the types of music a dj can play.

We used a Timepiece which is a 9 piece band from Franklyn Wayne. They (franklyn wayne) have 5 bands to choose from and you can hear samples on their website.

I just got married this month and people RAVED about our DJ- Parties Alive. they are vendors on here. They were OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!

We r using Classie Sounds, they are in Bklyn though.
