Re: Any recommendations for a fun restaurant in the city?
I like the west village or the Lower East Side - both areas have tons of innovative little authentic restaurants, and theres such a great vibe. No big chains...
Look at: (West Village) 'ino - amazing little panini and wine bar Cowgirl - fun, campy comfort food joint Sushi Samba Seven - a little more upscale, Japanese and Brizilian Fusion, very Sex and the City.
(LES) Suba - just amazing, the dining room is suspended over water - great bar inoteca - sister restaurant to ino, great italian tapas For dessert - Laboritorio del Gealto - yum!
Have fun!

*sigh* Takes me right back to my crazy NYC days!! Not sure it qualifies for good food...maybe cheap, but by the time you have a margarita, you don't really care anyway!
