Any recommendations for a videographer?

Original post by Syren

I've checked out ADA and Patken so far. I plan on looking into WildRose. I emailed to find out what their office hours are but I never heard from them. Does anyone here know?

I think Wild Rose does a beautiful job. It was just more video than I wanted. I just want the basics (no special effects) since we'll probably watch it a few times right after the wedding, then it will sit on a shelf gathering dust until our future children or grandchildren want to see it.

So I chose to go with Wedding Reels Video instead. They do a very good job and give alot for the money. Check out their website: www.weddingreels.com.

$1,500.00 you get:
*Digitally recorded 6+ hours of event coverage
*Wireless microphone on groom (your choice)
*Super diffused low on camera light for reception
*Interviews (your choice)
*Multiple locations
*Your choice of shooting style, documentary or intimate
*Edited up to 60-40-min.
*1 DVD + 2 VHS tapes or 3 dvds your choice
*Any additional music, photos and footage
*Dolby Digital Audio
*Web video highlights
*Chapter Marks, Splash Screen, Menu
*Time Capsule
*Best of raw footage
*DVDs can contain up to 2 hours of footage from your day.

They have a more expensive package as well.

Did you check out Queens Bridal yet? They are in Lindenhurst?? I used them.. I had a winter wedding in January! They were great! My pictures are the proof! The coloring, the staff, everyone was pumped and had such a high energy and was very happy and excited to work with me! The package deal I got was great! The wedding dvd was beautiful, the graphics the black and white shots the slow motion I just couldnt ask for anything more......my little sister just booked them too! You should check them out! You'll know what I mean!!

KELLY: What is the vendor alert? What does that mean?

Re: Any recommendations for a videographer?

FYI:
Vendor Alert means there is a vendor posing as a bride. If you do a search of the names of the people who have posted on this thread it will be glaringly obvious who only posts regarding.......?

BELLARINO!!! Kate and Phil are amazing and I can't say enough how great they were!! They were so great on the day of our wedding and the finished product still leaves me speechless!!! I don't have one complaint about my video or their service... they have been there for everything I have needed and I will recommend them to everyone I know... please look into them because they are very reasonable and extremely talented

Another vote for Bellarino. Phil & Kate are so amazing to work with. They have been so nice to us and I feel that their work is fantastic.

I booked with Bliss Productions NY. Jerry (the owner and main videographer) was GREAT. I totally fell in love with his work and he didn't try to sell me stuff i didn't need or want. You can check out their website www.blissproductionsny.com . The prices are also listed there as well.
