I did some of my envelopes myself on my inkjet print using word. They came out great and if you compared them to the ones I had done by calligraphy you really souldn't tell the difference.

Save money and do them yourself!

I'm using www.afineletter.com for my save the dates. I sent them UPS to her Tuesday and she'll mailing them back to me today. I should have them tomorrow. She also emailed b/c she thought I misspelled a street, so she checked the postal service online for the correct spelling, and emailed me to confirm. So far the service from her has been fabulous. I'll let you know tomorrow how they look.

Inkspun was GREAT for us.
He is the least expensive out there, but not CHEAP results.
The vendors name is Bill Scher.
He posts his prices on his website, located in Westchester, and although he charges an $8 set-up fee, he sends corrections and your additions at no cost.

Is the calligraphy at afineletter.com done by hand or is it electronic?

Thanks!

She does it by hand. I mailed it out to her Tuesday and she returned everything today. She's fabulous. I had her do the penmanship which is only $.25 per envelope. Her penmanship is fabulous. I had her do my save the dates, but I'll definately use her for my invitations. She even emailed me every step of the way, corrected a spelling mistake, and I just can't say enough good things about her.
