Any Rockville Centre Diocese Teachers? HELP

Hi, I'm getting frustrated already with the lack of jobs available on the island and really do not want to teach back in the city next year. FH said why don't you try the RVC diocese schools--at least you won't have to commute. I am now working in catholic school in the city, so I know the salaries are brutal, but I wanted to know if anyone on here teaches on the island.

I have a bunch of q's....

Does anyone know of openings in their school?

salary (I have 3 years experience & a masters)

Is there a big need for teachers?

How are your principals?

Is anything required of you outside of school? clubs/teams/etc?

My masters is in early childhood, so I'd be looking for K-3.

Thanks so much!

Feel free to fm me.

I work in Farmingdale at a regional school...

Not that I know of, we may possibly have to get rid of 4 teachers!!

salary (I have 3 years experience & a masters)
Low thirties probably

Some schools, not most

How are your principals?
The one I used to have was fantastic... not loving the one I have now at all!

We have to have a recess club for a few weeks... other than that not too much out of school stuff, occasional masses or shows, graduation, etc...

The Diocese website posts job openings if you want me to check it out for you... just FM me! Good luck!!

1 more Q:

on the application, do you have to have a priest sign something for you?

How long after filling out the application do you generally hear from them?

I see Biagio Arpino is also a principal, besides being the person to contact at the diocese.

Thanks.
