Since my church is less then 3 mins away, I don't want to really move around alot to take pics......

Russo's is AWESOME. Been to many weddings there in the past few years.

The courtyard they used for pictures is small but nice if you don't have a large bridal party. Inside is also nice, but there is a park down the road. I think its called Charles Park. My friend had her pictures taken there. I don't have any pcitures of my own, but I saw some of hers and the park was very nice. It was right on the water.

Is the park on cross bay blvd? I am getting married at Russo's too and planned to take pics at old westbury gardens but I need a backup in case there's not enough time!

What about Belle Harbor? I'm sure there's a park in that area and you'll have ocean shots too.

My friend's getting married there on Saturday (I'm in the wedding). I know she said there's no time to go anywhere for pictures, so she's taking them at the garden in Russo's. I'll let you know how it is

I happen to live in Howard Beach and can't think of any place in the area that would be nice for pictures.
Ronnie&Theresa is right, Charles Park isn't an ideal place. The only thing that comes to mind is going out to Rockaway and taking pictures on the beach. :)
