I love skiing also, but ever since me and FH got on a snowboard couple years ago, we fell in love and it's hard to go back to skis...

Me! I have been snowboarding for 13 years now. I love going every year.

I used to ski since I was 4, then picked up boarding in high school, and never went back to skiing. I haven't missed a season since 4 years old! Wow! thats 26 years!

It's my favorite sport!

Wow!! I'm jealous. Well it's definitley our favorite sport now too. We go a few times a year. I don't even have my own board yet. I think we are buying each other one for xmas this year maybe even going to aspen
My children will definitely start young! Hopefully they will like it

I love snowboarding, unfortunately haven't had much time to actually go in the past couple of years. I was hoping that would change this year but it hasn't yet. Maybe I'll plan a day trip!

I do love to snowboard...not the best at it but I do have fun. Until I met my FI I never even tried it. We usually go a couple of times a year, he's actually in Vermont right now. I decided to stay home to clean and do wedding stuff. I have to much on my mind to concentrate on it...like I said i'm not the best so it does take some concentration for me if I don't want to be on my butt all day.

I recently started on the half pipe but I'm not that good, or confindent in it yet. I guess I started to late in life on that, I get scared!

FH proposed to me on the slopes - though we were skiing on that exact day we're some of the brave few who do both. I SO want to snowboard (or ski) this year, but it doesn't look like its in the cards for me...

FH and I agreed our kids will be those little bombers you see all over the mountain!

i love to snowboard and dh is a huge skier so we went to do that on our honeymoon!! we stayed at a spa and it was amazing!!!

Belleayre mountian is where I learned to ski years ago and also learned to board. So I love going there anytime, plus its a quick trip to the catskills. Jiminy Peak was fun, and of course Killington! I want to try mt. vernon..

I really should have attempted to learn when I was younger...I'm too scared now!!

Don't be discouraged. Definitley give it another shot! as for both, my first day was frustrating, but by the end of the day I was on the TOP of the mountain!! It's really awesome..and most places have the training sessions. you learn all the necessities; balancing, how to stop, turn, keep going
