my dad got married at st. barnabas in bellmore and our bouquets were peachy pink roses...similar to the marble there. it is a beautiful church.

Re: Any st. Barnabas brides out there?
Thanks! My rehearsal was last night and they told my daughter that she can't drop rose petals as she walks down the aisle. That is what I ordered and she is crushed.

Re: Any st. Barnabas brides out there?
someone else posted a thread about this last month i think...that is crazy! you can always go 'oops!' but maybe you shouldn't. what about fake rose petals. with a michaels coupon, a box could be around 5 bucks! they don't stain and are easy to clean up if that is what they are worried about. for my dad's wedding, there wasn't a flower girl, so i can't tell you about that. i'm sorry.

My best friend got married there almost ten years ago and her FG just carried a small basket of arranged flowers - no petals It's a silly rule, but I guess they prefer not to have to clean up the petals after the wedding.
