Hi ladies- I havent started seeing photographers yet but has anyone ever just had the photographer only ? then took the negatives and made your own albums thru whatever mehod you wished?
Ideally Id like all digital with an experienced person, then id like to make my albums on ofoto or something. Am I living in Lala land or does that type of vendor exist?

umm, i'm pretty sure duet has a package that gives you the proofs only... i'm not sure about the negatives though...

Yes. We looked at a photographer we really liked who did not do albums. She has great photos. She is also inexpensive.
We did not go with her because we wanted someone to do our albums.

I know of a photographer that just gives you the proofs. She doesn't do any packages. FM if you need info. She also charges by the hour which can help to control costs.

Yep! 12th Night! He shoots digital color then black and white film. You get a DVD (with negative quality files), proofs and the black and white negatives! Plus as a bonus he is such a nice guy!
