Any Suggestions?

Originally I was getting an all inclusive resort in Cancun for my honeymoon through a relative with a time share. Well that may not be working out now (long story involving us not being married in a church) - My fiance and I have not budgeted in a honeymoon at all so now we aren't sure if we can even take one.

I've never used a travel agent before. So I don't know where to start with that. (help?)

Worse case scenario we could go back to Dominican Republic (we loved it!) but our timeshare isn't til the end of March - a month after the wedding - we'd prefer to go on a honeymoon the day after the wedding instead of waiting and we wanted to go somewhere new.

Anyway since we haven't budgeted it in - we wanted to stay at something all inclusive - on the beach, maybe the Caribbean. for 7 to 10 days.

Including airfare.. we can probably only spend under $3000.. Less would be much better.. any suggestions? Or am I totally nuts for thinking I can find something like this.

My FH and I went to Mexico earlier in the year. We stayed at an amazing resort near Cancun called Paradisus Riviera Cancun. It is not in Cancun (i am persoanlly not a fan of Cancun). Its actually in Puerto Morelos, which is a smaller area near Cancun. The food was delishh and considering we went close to spring break, we got a really great price (I think about 2500, but we only styaed 5 days). Check it out, im sure that you can get an even better deal since oyu owuld be going in Feb!

I've actually never been to Mexico - I was just going to Cancun because it was virtually free - we would have just had to pay for the flights. I'm definitely going to check out Mexico anyway and see what I can find. Did you use a travel agent?

def jet blue has such great flights!

and disney, if you stay in the value resorts, you def can....

You can definetly do it!
Our last vacation FH & I stayed at the Riu Palace in Cancun (which is the higher end of the Riu's hotel) for 7 nights and we paid I believe $1200 per person. This is including everything at a 5***** hotel including airfare. It is so doable just research and once you know what you want stalk the prices until you feel comortable with it.

check out cheapcaribbean.com...we booked our vacation to Jamaica there. We went this past June and it was a little more than half ur budget for 6 nights, all inclusive, including flights, so you can probably find something awesome!!!! I also used cheap caribbean when we went to punta cana a few years ago and got a great deal!
