I heard great things about James Crest. Do a search, I think a couple of brides on here have used him. Good luck

I can't make a comparison because I don't know anything aout Flower Michele, but we are using James Cress...and we are very particular with what we want. He made around 3 sample centerpieces until we felt it was absolutely perfect.

I haven't been to Michele, but i have an appt. I did go to James Crest and i didn't like it at all. Of all the florists i have been to he was the priciest and i found him rather rigid. Good Luck

I went to see James Crest on Friday...he was very pricey. Also...I told him my budget and he basically told me that there is nothing he can do. And....he is the house florist at my hall. His work is beautiful though...

Okay-- I used to work for James Cress Florist.... I loved working with them and knew that when it came time to picking out my flowers for my wedding I would have a hard time choosing. They do have excellent quality flowers, but their prices are very high.

I chose Flower Michele for my wedding. They were affordable and had the best quality flowers of all of the places I visited. John was open minded and friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He worked within my budget, and made it work very well! I was very impressed with the final results. Feel free to FM me for more info!

I checked out both for our wedding, thinking for sure that we'd go with James Cress because I was familiar with their great work.

We booked Flower Michele - John was better priced and so MUCH better to deal with.

Mr. Cress has his own ideas about my wedding and wasn't interested in mine. He totally turned me off.

Flower Michele did an incredible job - my flowers were gorgeous, and John's fabulous.

I have friends who used them both. They were both very happy. My friend who used James Cress had very specific flowers and ideas in mind. She bought pictures and explained what she liked and did not like. They were able to give her what she wanted and more. She was extremely happy with them. My other friend just used Flower Michele and like all the other girls on this site, she had no complaints. I do not think you can go wrong with either one. I guess $ will be the determining factor.

Both do excellent work from what I seen on the boards so I don't think you can go wrong with either. Go with your instincts and pick which is best for you : ).

From my own personal experience I tried to get a meeting with Flower Michele and they didn't seem insterested in seeing me so after 3 tries I gave up. James Cress has very set views on what he wants to create and I found him unresponsive to what i was looking to do so I went elsewhere. But I do have to say that Kathy's centerpeice (thats posted above) looks absolutely beautiful.

I had the same experience with James Cress as did oct2004 and LisaT. I used Flower Michele and was absolutely thrilled with both the price and John's work. He was also amazing to work with and knew exactly what we wanted and didn't gouge us for it.
