any suggestions for centerpieces????

Hi, I was thinking of doing something besides flowers for centerpieces. I'm on a tight budget and I think flowers would be a little too expensive. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.....Thanks

You can do a really nice centerpiece with candles and a mirror, and if you shop around a little you can get it for a good price and spend less than on flowers

If your on a udget, I wouldn't suggest that, their a bit on the pricey side. And the cheaper pieces are very small. Just a heads up, we looked into it.

Hi girls,

I think my ceterpeices are relatively cheap. We bought:
10' glass hurricanes ($6 each - w/40% discount from Michaels)

3 small arrangements of white hydrangeas for each table - 2 stems in each glass vase ($40 a table).

3 to 4 votives (4 for a $1.00) with tea lights

Overall each table costs with glass, candles, flowers, and tax $50.

We are doing these for CP's. We got the vases at AC Moore ($10, cheapest I found and they are identical to the one in the pic) and there is a 40% off coupon in the paper on Sundays..plus they accept Michael's coupons. I get one or two each week.. The florist is going to do the rose pedals (orange, yellow, and terracota) and she will also set them up for us!

Surroundings is such a great website!!! I really thought I knew what I wanted, but now I want a bowl of water, with red floating candles, red beads on the bottom, and the glass bubbles around the floating candles. around this will be scattered white votice candles and red rose petals.

This is what I say now....but I get so much great advice here, I'm sure it will change a hundred more times! Poor FH...I'm driving him crazy!
