Any suggestions for florists?

I''m looking for a florist for my wedding (in Manhasset). It is the one area I''m trying to keep costs down. Can anyone suggest a good florist that they have used, are using or have spoken to? I''m living in the city and have limited time to meet w/ florists so your ideas are GREATLY appreciated! Thanks

I used Jay W. Becker in Floral Park. My flowers were amazing and reasonably priced.

Sugar Magnolia's in Stonybrook

It's a trek from NYC, but Heidi (the owner) will definitely work with you to keep costs down. Her work is like a mix of Martha Stewart meets Pottery Barn. BTW - Where are you getting married in Manhasset?

They are so helpful, and I`m sure they could probably work something out to keep cost down. Bobbi and Lisa were who we worked with, and they were just great .. right down to the very last minute changes we had because of complications with the guest list. Milleridge Inn Florist

I am not having my wedding there, but I am using their florist. (a separate business from the Milleridge Inn) I got my flowers for my engagement party there and they were just gorgeous. I have also used them in the past for regular arrangements and I have always been very happy with them.

Heidi is the owner, and her # is 631-751-8411. They might charge you a fee for delivery to Nassau, but IMO it's well worth it! You should at least check out her shop - it's so cute! I grew up in Port Wash, and I'm getting married the church I grew up in (Congregational Church) on Northern Blvd., right across from the Americana. My hall is out in Setauket.
