Any suggestions for putting stamps on envelopes?

I have to put three .37cent stamps across the top of my invitation and it is taking forever and they are a little crooked. Any suggestions or do I just have to deal with it???

You could have used a 60 cent stamp. But if you already bought the stamps, I guess its too late.

You also could have gone to the post office and purchased the exact denomination needed for each envelope on a single sticker. That would have been even easier.

I know it must be annoying, but just take your time.

If you can, save the regular stamps for later or see if the post office will exchange them for the correct amount.

My invites only needed a 37 cent stamp. Do you know how much you need to put on there?
You might be wasting $$ putting $1.11 on each one.

Thanks ladies! I know I am def. wasting money but I didn't have many options. My invities needed .83cents and I could have gotten the 60 cent and the 23 cent but the 23 cent was a picture of an old lady or red with an eagle. I am patiently putting the .37 cent stamps on. I am wasting .28 cents but I guess I am going for the nicer look.

I used two stamps on each invite. I tried to line them up by matching up the grooves and interlocking them - same way they came on the sheets. Hope that makes sense.
