Can anyone suggest a good DJ and also, does anyone have any experience with music being played for an outdoor ceremony? Do you typically have to book somebody separate for that or can a DJ do it?

The hall should be able to accomodate your DJ for an outside reception, unless you'd prefer live music? Hart to Hart is a pretty good DJ company and they have ALOT of extras
My DJ is also doing my CH, ceremony 'outside' music. Call Vinny from High VOltage, he comes highlt recommended and his prices are AWESOME !!!

I booked Elegancia Entertainment and they set up a system for the ceremony, another one for the Cocktail and then another one in the Main room. So that everytime the guests leave one room, music is playing at the other one.

Thank you, I thought it was a stupid question but I really was wondering how it all worked out, I still have to call the catering hall, but something tells me that they don't play music outside. Thank you for your help

Fusion DL. They do it all and they are extremely nice. Ask for John. DJ and musicians. They have people who play trumpets, flute, sax, etc. Good luck!

I have to add to the Vinny love fest!! He is doing music and PA for my outdoor ceremony, music for CH and the reception. His prices are so reasonable, and he is all around a nice guy. He is the one and only vendor we booked on the spot without meeting with anyone else. The next closest decision I made was DOC - I grabbed Francesca from Dazzling Affairs right when I met with her, having previously met with 2 other DOCs. This from the person who visited 25 halls, 7 photographers, and 14 florists.
