Any suggestions on how to block glass doors at the church?

Any suggestions on how to block glass doors at the church?

The doors at the back of my church are all glass... and the entire back of the church is all glass doors.

I wanted to hang something from the doors, but I don't think the church will be crazy about that idea. I was thinking about a room divider, but thought that would look cheesy. Maybe just flowers or a plant at the back of the church or in the lobby to kind of block things at the back of the church?

I would just kind of like that 'grand entrance', 'seeing the bride for the first time' effect, and you REALLY can't get that in my church with the fishbowl effect going on...

any suggestions?

They usually don't let you cover anything up; mine had glass doors....so I hid in the little room to the side and only came out with my dad the second before the music played....even though some ppl see you, it doesn't ruin anything!

yeah... but maybe I'm being a bit 'Bridezilla-ish', but I want that dramatic door opening effect, not all the guests seeing me scurry to get to the middle doors.

The church my sister got married in was the same way, and she just hid out in a little room until the last minute like lanabean did. Most people were distracted by the BMs walking down the aisle so they didn't see her until she walked through the doors anyway.

Boston & NY has a point. Also, get your father to walk out next to the windows so if people are looking, their view is obstructed.

that's true... and I can get my limo guys to kind of block me, too. I was thinking of something more decorative and dramatic, like draping sheets or something. Guess not... .
