Re: any sunday night wedding problems?
I am also having my reception on a Sunday evening...It's inexpensive and also, I like the idea that my guests do not have to take off from work to come to the ceremony at my church. If they choose to take off the following day from work, that's their decision. I haven't encountered any problems so far, people have been very cool about it. I'm sorry about your Mother...I hope that everything works out well for you!

Re: any sunday night wedding problems?
My wedding is on a Sunday from 6-11, but it's Columbus Day weekend. Some people have off, others don't.I think it's fine...but just remember that some guests will leave early because they have to work....others will party until the end!
our prayers are with you and your mom...

Re: any sunday night wedding problems?
Anoinette,You have the same date as me now! The only thing that is important is that this is better for you & Mom. People come to a wedding because they care about you & support your marriage-not because of convience. Your party will be great & those that can stay all night will-don't worry yourself over it. I've been to Sunday nights & its fine. We are Sunday day because my Fi falls asleep @ 8pm & we thought it would be too long of a day for our kids. Best of luck & stay happy & positive for your Mom, I'm sure this means the world her.

Re: any sunday night wedding problems?
I don't think it causes problems. Your family and friends will be there no matter what day or time you have your wedding.
