It's so hard to find brides who have used the garden room at the swan club. I was curious to see pics on how the room looked all decorated. I 'm going to see a florist soon and wanted some ideas.

I hope I am recalling the same room...is that the room with the one wall that is almost all mirrors? I am pretty certain that My brother had his wedding in the garden room. I honestly think that you can do anything that you want in there but given your fall wedding...reds, oranges and yellows would look awesome in that room.

Really?? I thought that was the Camelot Room with all the mirrors. The Garden Room is the one that is downstairs and has the private bathroom.

The garden room is the downstairs room but it has mirrors along the walls. I didn't really look at the camelot room since it was already booked. I'm not sure about the mirrors there.

Ohh ok.... yeah it has mirrors towards the end of the room. the camelot room is the biggest room there and it's full of mirrors.... anyway, how's ur planning coming along? Are you having the ceremony there as well?? I fell in love with the garden what why we chose that place....

Planning is going well. We pretty much booked everything but the florist. I'm gonna go see one soon, probably this weekend. I won't be having the ceremony there, it will be at a church. I love the gardens too! I also love the fact that people can walk around and enjoy the scenery. It looks really nice at night. Very excited!!

I have lots of things booked except my florist too!!! Who are you meeting with?? I think this has been the hardest thing for me cause I refuse to pay 250.00 for a centerpiece... LOL!

Lol, I wouldn't wanna pay that much either! I am going to a place in Brooklyn, since it's where I live. Figured I'd check out what's closest to me first. It's called Madison Florist.

I am using the Garden room as well!!
I already have my centerpieces picked out, and they weren't over 100. If you are going to go with tall ones....keep in mind the cielings aren't that high, so you don't have to go over the top tall due to that factor. They will already look tall.

Mmmmm I don't really have a set theme...just going with elegant and I know what I like and don't like when I see it. lol.
We are going with an eggplant color and orchid. I wanted to do fall, without the typical fall colors (not really into the typical fall colors...lol). So my centerpieces go along with that. They are tall branches with deep purple flowers attached to the branches, and crystals hanging. And even thought its a day wedding will also have candle around it.

simple...but elegant. And I used silk flowers so they will last forever when people take them home. And they weren't a fortune per centerpiece!
