Any other teachers feeling the drag of having to go back to school after vacation? I know I am! I just needed to whine.....

I am feeling your pain. Sundays are hard as it is, but when you have been off for the whole week, it's even worse. I hope you enjoyed your break and did something fun. Thankfully my FH and I flew to FLorida on Sunday morning so we missed all the snow. Now it's back to reality. Have a great week back!

Ughh!! I can't believe it's the last day already! I have been home all day writing reports that I should have been working on all week.

I've yet to do a lesson plan for the week! AND FH has my plan book in the car and is not returning until 7pm! Oooopsie

i always tell my mother, 'Yuck I have to go back to work tomorrow!!' She looks at me like I am nuts! No one has any sympathy!!

I feel everyones pain!!!
And no one has sympathy for me either b/c this is my first year teaching everyone tells me quit complaining last you you only had a three day weeeknd in February now you have had a WHOLE week. They just dont get it!!

04Bride: you especially need long vacations during your first year of teaching! That first year is so brutal!

Here it is, almost 9pm, and I'm doing paperwork, corrections, and lesson plans that I had all week to do! I also did not go to school on the Wed. and Fri. before break due to a death in the family, and therefore left a lot of assignments for the students to do during my absences. I'm not looking forward to the major amount of papers when I return tomorrow!

OOOoo...My first year too! I definitely think we're spoiled! I am reminded everytime I whine to friends! It doesn't make it any easier!

Teacher here too...I am finding it sooo hard to go back tomorrow..especially since I didn't get as much as I wanted to this week (snowed in for 3 days). I did manage to get my veil and my trial hair/makeup.
I am looking forward to seeing my kids tomorrow. They are my escape from the wedding planning. Theyare really excited about me getting married. They are first graders and have a huge # on the board of how many days are left. Each day another child gets to erase it and post the new number. Hey at least I made it educational for them working on their backwards counting

I'm about to leave and I'm dragging myself out the door. I was productive this week, but not with lessons! I'm a speech-language pathologist in a school for the physically handicapped.

How was everyone's first day back? I teach kindergarten. This morning they were so quiet! It was wonderful, but by the afternoon they were back to their usual selves. Ugh!!
