Any thoughts of the Windbrooke Condos ?

Any thoughts of the Windbrooke Condos ?

Does anyone have any thoughts about the Windbrooke Condos in Central Islip on the Hauppauge border? FH and I saw a few on Saturday and we are the second accepted offer for one. We liked the complex but I would like others opinions.

Sorry I am not familiar with that complex but be careful about CI, a friend just moved from there becuase of crime (he owned a house!)

This is in a complex and it seems nice. I am just wondering if anyone knows anyone who lives there. I know one person who likes it, but I am just looking for me opinions

My cousin and her husband live there and love it.

It's looking like we probably won't get this one anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter We are the second accepted offer and it has been over a week. I think it is a done deal for the other person

Hi...I didnt see this post before...I lived there for about 6 years...we rented it though ...It was a two bedroom corner unit downstairs one( I know they have some that are up ) I LOVED it there...I didnt like the neighboorhood or the school district( my sister was in the high school) but the complex itself was GREAT, we never once had a problem, we loved going for walks and stuff...it was very well taken care of in there and me and FH are going to look in there as well when we look for condo's....only problem we ever had was a HUGE flood once...but it was a flash flood warning, and in our parking lot there were 5 cars completly lost ( the water went over the windows of the car) ...It was about 5 years ago and it was one of those 'worst flood days in history' and afterwards they fixed the drianage there and I think it would not be repeated....the other thing I liked was the security...the security drives in and out all night long and the gates in the back by the high school get locked....FM me if you have any more specific questions about them....

We GOT in! We found another Winbrooke condo and it was even nicer and better than the other one we were waiting to hear about.

I am so excited. It is so nice. It has oak railings on the staircase and hardwood floors in the living room and dining room. It is so nice!!
