My thoughts are that I dont take diet advice from fat men.

Say what you want about Dr Phil...he is fat!

generally I would agree but apparently one of FH's cousins got the book and went from a size 10-12 down to a 4-6. I don't know how long its taken but so far so good!

Do you really think so? I didn't think this...I mean he isn't Kevin James fat (when he was) or John Goodman fat...

He is definitely fat. Maybe not Kevin James or John Goodman fat...but those guys are SUPER FAT. I mean, John Goodman had to LOSE weight to play Babe Ruth..and Babe Ruth was morbidly obese!

Honestly, I dont care if he is fat or not...but i dont buy advice books from people who are obviously not sucessful at doing whatever they are giving advice on.

Its like me writing a book at how to be single in Wisconsin.

you are right...never thought about it that way...

to be honest...I am not out of my range (just tinkering at the top end), but i am sure that he is...so I guess I am doing better than he is...

makes sense...I just want some menu ideas really...and he does have a nutritionist who he collaborated with...and shes in very good shape...he just gets the credit...

Really?? I've never seen Babe Ruth, so I'm stunned! I just always thought athletes had to maintain some level of fitness...

I always like to add a new piece of trivia to my brain...

I started to read it but had to give it back to the library before I was done. It is OK - I liked the SBD diet book better.

But I never warmed up to Dr. Phil. And now he has shakes and diet bars. I thought his concept ran against stuff like that so I'm a bit pissed off that he (IMO) sold out.
