any thoughts when to take 'holiday' pics?

...for those picture posstcards everyone loves to send out???

I received something from a small company we use...and the deadline on the 'special' rate is oct31st!
Won't julianne look a lot different from Oct to Dec??

If you are thinking of going to Sears you would have to do it in early November. I took b-day photos in July & they weren't ready for a month!!

What I did for the cards was take my own photo & bring them to either CVS or Costco.

I think we will go to Picture People, or maybe Kiddie Kandids, which are in certain Babies R Us locations, and have a family or kids pic taken. These two places give you your pics immediately. Last year I used a digital image and did my cards through a websites, www.shutterfly.com but I know that www.ofoto.com does them too. They were so much more reasonable than the stores, even the drugstores. That way you can scan the pic they give you, or take a digital one, and order your cards online.

I had great success with ordering them online last year and they arrived within a week or so.

I go to the Olan Mills Portrait Studio.. Its located inside of KMart, on North Ocean Ave. (Route 83) in Farmingville. Their picture greeting cards are EXTREMELY affordable... and they always get the best shots! This was Alex's first portrait.. he was 5 weeks old here.. The 6 month shots come in on the 26th i think.FM me if you have any ??'s.
