Hi ladies- getting married October 9 at timber point. Just wondering what some other past or future TP brides are doing for theme/decor....

I'm getting married there on Saturday (what??!!)... I'm going for a simple/elegant beach theme that reflects the Long Island landscape - cattails and beach grass, some sand and shells, etc.
In a few days, I can tell you how it worked out!

I'm a Timber Point bride!! Woo hoo!! We're not really having a theme though - our colors are going to be blue and yellow.

I'm getting married at Timber Point too! I'm only in the beginning stages of thinking about decor. They told me to visit during the season of the wedding to take advantage (if wanted) of the seasonal decor they already have. I would assume in Oct they would have pumpkins and mums and things like that. I want to decorate the fireplace mantels. I have some ideas of either wedding pics of parents and grandparents or candle holders with something decorative around it. Or even little potted flowers...I have so many ideas, just not sure what I route I want to go with. Good luck!
