Any tips for finding the best prices on Alvina Valenta BM dresses?

Hi Ladies,

A week ago my BMs and I went shopping for dresses and we found one we all really liked by Alvina Valenta. The only poblem is that they cost more than I feel comfortable asking them to spend.

I've been calling many bridal shops in the area and searching the web without much luck! All prices seem to be around the same. Net brides and RK don't carry Alvina Valenta.

Before we go back to searching thought I would check here since I know you ladies know all of the secrets!

My girls are wearing Alvina Valenta. Not sure what prices you were quoted, but I am ordering mine from Sueno Bridal in Rhode Island. ( I know it sounds weird but we live in New England) Anyway, 5 of my 7 girls are in NY & all ordered from there b/c they gave us the standard 10% off plus there is no sales tax in RI. They are going to ship the girls their dresses. It came out to $212 per girl, which is just about the same cost as some inferior quality dresses.

I just got back home from going with my girls to order their Alvina Valenta dresses! I went to the Commack Wedding Center a while ago and saw that they wanted $204 for the dress that I wanted. Now, Centereach Bridal Suite (which is much nicer and friendlier) wanted $250. I called back Centereach and they matched the price!! I was psyched! You should def. try bargaining,,,,it worked for me!!!

my advice is to pray for a discount... pray really hard. Alvina gowns are soo expensive.
