Re: ANY TIPS FOR GOING TO KLEINFELDS???
There are sooooooo many dresses in the store, it would help if you brought pictures of dresses in magazines because they usually don't let you walk around and look at the dresses. You will work with a lady and she will bring dresses for you to try on based on what you tell her you want. Also make sure you have an appointment!!!!! You will have an amazing time and they will make you feel like a princess. Have fun!!!!!

they let me walk around and try on anything I wanted. I used Vivian after someone from this board recommended her. She really was excellent. I never would have bought my dress if I did not go to Kleinfeld's. They carry gowns that are only sold there.

Are the dresses very expensive or can you find some in the 1000-2000 range????

They will try to push the more expensive ones, but they do have dresses in that price range. I wanted to keep it around there and they took me into another smaller room that was full of dresses in that range. The dress I bought was $1200 and it looks way more expensive than that, at least I think so.
I didn't enjoy my experience there...mainly bc the consultant I dealt with ...just really didnt have a clue... however if you know what you want...show them pictures, and if ur not satisfied....give other suggestions...
they do have a room of dresses that are muuuch lower priced...but thats mainly due to the material the dresses are made of...mostly polyester...so if that doesnt matter to you just let them know...

I bought my dress from Kleinfeld's and I just loved it there. Rosaria was my consultant. I brought in pics of dresses that I liked and she brought them to me, with a couple that she thought I should try on. I bought the first one I tried on! (I tried on a bunch, but the first was the best) You'll have a great time - enjoy!

What if you have no clue what you want. Im just not sure what I want anymore. Can I tell them I want something really sparkly and diva-like? When is the best day to go?

Re: ANY TIPS FOR GOING TO KLEINFELDS???
I had no idea what I wanted when I first went in. My consultant (Judith) brought out a few different styles, then we narrowed it down from there. She found the perfect dress for me!
I went first thing on a Saturday morning, and by the time I was done the place was totally packed and crazy.

They'll ask you what type of dress you're looking for and in what price range. I would suggest going during the week if you can. I feel like you get better service because they are less crazy.

STAY AWAY FROM SATURDAYS!!! Klenfeld's is like a zoo on Saturdays! Plus with the traffic it could take you forever to get there and find parking!

Have patience there are 100's of brides and they make you wait a while if they are busy. They even have signs saying that you have no choice but to wait so don;t complain (something to that effect) Its definently worth the experience just know this before you go.
