I highly recommend Leslie from Travel Solutions - a vendor on LIW. Her e-mail is [email protected] . Many LIW brides have worked with her and recommended me to her. She's been wonderful to work with and can work with any budget! We're going to the Sandals in the Bahamas for under $4K
I was unsure about going with a TA, but she is so easy to talk with. We ended up being on the phone for 3 hours one time while I baraged her with questions about my HM, it's locale, insurance, costs, etc. She is herself a former LIW bride from a few years back, so she knows how it can be with planning. She answers her e-mails daily and has offices across LI to meet you at if you don't want to do everything through e-mail. She offers free quotes by just asking. She'll get some specifics from you, so she knows what you expect/want and then let you know what she is able to reserve for you. we used Dawn from Cruise One... a vendor on here... she was great and SO helpful... i worked with her all by phone and email!

Nikki Mahoney at Liberty Travel in Selden is AAAMAAAAAAAZZZZZZIIIIIINNNNGG!!!!!!!!!!! I refer everyone to her. My family has used her for years. Example: we booked our honeymoon all the way back in january...not only was she EXTREMELY helpful & guided us through everything, but she just called us LAST WEEK (and we had not spoken with her since JANUARY...thats 7months later!) to tell us she came across an airfare deal that would save us $400.00. It was just really cool that she even remembered us! If you get in touch with her, be sure to tell her Taryn & Josh referred you to her! I'm telling you she wont let you down! Also, if you get a quote from another travel agent, it's a GAURANTEE that she'll beat it.

I recommend at least looking on travelocity and expedia FIRST. with a travel agent, you'll have to pay for her services on top of the trip. this could limit what you get because their fee must be included in the price range you give. We found a great deal for under $4k and booked it online...it was all-inclusive so there was nothing to do but pick dates and pick the times of our flights.

I used to work with Patti McCarton from Jeffrey's World of Travel in Great Neck for work and then she helped me personally too
She is AWESOME!!!!!! So nice and totally goes out of her way to make sure your trip is great. She did my friend's honeymoon in Hawaii and they RAVED about the little extras she got them and how seemless their travels were

i used Liberty Travel in Franklin Sq.
I thought they were great...
They even have us booked on two different airlines, just incase one of them changes there flight..
We are paying $6K, but we upgraded our car, are staying in a 4 or 5 star hotel and are going for 12 days
