Hi, we were considering using a judge to perform the wedding ceremony since finding a rabbi and minister has not been going to well for us...has anyone been to a wedding with a judge? what was the ceremony like? very short? Thanks!

I'm using a judge... he gave me 'sample' pieces of ceremonies to cut and paste together. The samples were 4 pages long, and he said he will do whatever you like, so it should be as long or as short as you want it.

I also used a judge - My ceremony was about 5 minutes. Thats all we wanted. It was very nice, short and sweet.

You can use an interfaith minister if you want a longer wedding ceremony. We're still in between a rabbi + priest or an interfaith minister.
