Any vegetarian brides out there?
I was just wondering what you were doing about your meals and for your vegetarian guests...

I am not a vegetarian, but our hall provides us with four meal choices...1)Meat 2)Chicken 3)Fish and 4)Vegetarian. My FSIL and also BM is a vegetarian so we had to look out for her. Ask your hall if they have alternatives for the vegetarians.
We had a pasta dish.
We ordered vegetaraian plates. They didnt charge extra for that.
I am a vegitarian and so is my sister and brother-in-law. All of the polaces I went to said they would work with that...they can have pasta dishes or vegetable dishes, rice dishes, and so on. But every place has been willing to work with it definetly.
I'm a vegetarian, and I considered having a whlly vegetarian wedding. I'm not going to do this, but I'm going to make sure there's a GREAT vegetarian dish, not just like, the chicken dinner without the chicken (I've seen that done, believe it or not). Something really reative and gourmet and delicious. And since FH is Jewish, (and we have some vegan friends) it can be both vegan and kosher. I'd like to have more than one vegetarian choice, and I'm willing to pay extra or eliminate for example, the chicken choice, or something...
this is one thing i want to be great on, ya know? i have been to weddings where the vegetarian dish is like steamed veggies and rice...like that will fill me up! i just want to make sure that the vegegtarians at my party are taken care of and appreciate their meals, if that makes sense.
Absolutely - I totally understand. Most of my family is veggie, so it would be horrible if they didn't enjoy their dinner. Thankfully, our caterer is veggie too, so he was really understanding. Maybe you can ask to do a tasting of the veggie meal? Can you do a pasta meal? Our pasta meal is grilled veggies with orrechietti (sp?)... for the appetiziers, we just picked stuff we knew everyone could eat
